Gnome shell is an unmitigated disaster and this has always been the case. I’m sick of these jumped up ego driven gnome developers that think there reinventing the wheel and its just as well they were never around when the wheel was being invented and they were in charge of the project because we would all be walking today

5 FUCKING YEARS !!! JUST THINK OF THAT AND WHERE HAVE WE GOT ?
1 ) A fragmented DE with a need for extensions that does not have 100% support by the gnome team and you have to resort things like install an extension to be able to refresh/disconnect your wifi access points that there says it all !!! thats unbelievable the direction they devs have took and gone forward with, throughout the years is an ego driven bullshit arrogant way of coding
2 ) Slow and painful progress with little or no actually real substantial movement .. hense 5 years and have we really come that far ?? to be honest its its not much better that when it started
3 ) Bugs that have been left dormant for years or ignored and not bothered with because the devs were busy playing , breaky breaky , removie and replacie with parts of the DE and now there back tracking and were getting functions back like the right click delete permanently holy fuck this is joke and I don’t think they really know what there doing !!!!
Gnome is developing like winblows !!! the first release is fucked together and left for people to report the bugs and in the the next release the issues are fixed and this cycle repeats itself , this is fucking lazy !!!! what the fuck is the point of beta testing for ? SO BASICALLY gnome 3.22 will actually be 3.20 fixed and so on etc, window 7 was windows vista fixed etc
NOTE : when I say fixed I mean usable, GNOME SHELL IS NEVER FIXED ITS ALWAYS A FOREVER CHANGING AND REMOVING AND THEN REPLACING WHAT THEY REMOVED AND THEN REMOVE IT AGAIN AND BREAK IT AND THEN REMOVE IT AND CHANGE IT AGAIN…… STEAMING PILE OF SHIT

First off we are all aware that its impossible to catch all bugs or unforeseen bugs on the first go thats a given but when you don’t even catch the fucking obvious bugs i.e the visual bugs then your a bunch of lazy incompetent useless fucktards . The problem with developers these days is they have a fucked up view of there responsibility , they think they just have to write the code and its not there job to check or test there code or changes that they have made to existing code, and that its the job of the public to test it and find there fuck ups and flaws and do there job for them and report the bugs so they can fix what they should have fucking done in the first place, thats some fucking bullshit right there !!!
Every gnome shell release is a half arse’d attempt of coding and design, If you want a gnome desktop release that has been somewhat polished don’t upgrade wait till the second release for example 3.16 was a fucking joke buggy as hell, 3.18 fixed some issues and cleaned up the stupid bugs when it was released , 3.20 is a brain fart with complete and utter incompetence and lazy coding so we have to wait for 3.22 to have a usable desktop
I’m running ARCH and I’ve been using 3.18 since it got updated from 3.16 and to be honest for the first time I actually started to like gnome shell , I’ve been using Linux for many years . When gnome shell first came on the seen I tried it and I fucking hated it, and since then I’ve tried every stable release and still hated it. 3.18 seemed like they were starting to make progress which is an epic fail in itself since this is not the devs first rodeo , its now 2016 they started in 2011 . 5 fucking years and there still making fuck ups and ignoring the community because they seem to think there making the desktop environment for them selves and not the community what a bunch of fucking arseholes.
The one of the biggest problem is the gnome extensions they break when you upgrade and unless you write your own, you depend on the author updating it and you end up searching and constantly modifying your gnome desktop look and feel which is fucking stupid
So I’m now left with a gnome shell 3.20 bunch of garbage that is half arsed and thrown together. Gnome devs you are a bunch of fucking idiots
As I said I’ve been using 3.18 since I upgraded from 3.16 and Its been rock solid . I had a cron job running in the back ground and it checked for updates everyday and when updates were available it did so without breaking and it never has let me down , its never broken and for the most part it was easy on th eye in other words I like the way it looked and performed , note that being said without the extensions I wouldn’t use it
Gnome devs ? why don’t you ask the majority and when I say majority I mean 80 percent not 51 percent of the users would they still be happy or continue to use gnome shell if the extensions were not available ? no need, I can tell you the answer …… its NO !!!! so wrap your tiny little brains around the answer . what does this say ?? is says your a bunch of fucktards ,People don’t like what your doing . My brains boggles when they have had 5 years and in the gnome-network-manager applet you don’t have wifi refresh or disconnect buttons if you want them you have to install extensions WTF is going on , furthermore setting the background from the settings has never worked before .. Huh ??? go figure !!! why don’t they fixed these bugs that have been around for ages, these are but a few of the ridiculous things going on in the G.S.D.D.D ( gnome shell dickhead devs department )
while these may seem small things for some people there’s a lot of little things that are not being fixed or address when they should have been. The point is they are not fixing bugs that they should be , they are more interested in modify different parts of the existing gnome shell and constantly changing things taking stuff out then putting it back FFS , for instance they took out the right click delete permanently now they have put it back ??? really why take it out in the first place you knob ends !! oh yeah sorry I forgot minimalism .. fucking arseholes
So here I am left with the biggest pile of steaming shit called gnome shell 3.20 what a fucking disaster , I upgraded it last night and its utter JUNK !!!! the screen kept going blank the sound would turn down, and the Internet would just disconnect and then reconnect and its wired connection and yes I fucking rebooted you arseholes, I also spun around two times ,said a prayer and jumped up and down , but to no avail it was still a steaming pile of shit as it was before I rebooted, this shit never happened with 3.18
SO….. I reinstalled arch with a fresh install of gnome shell 3.20, guess what its still a steaming pile of shit after five years this is what we get and this is the quality of coding we can expect from the devs that don’t even test or check there code changes

1 ) can you see anything wrong ?? yea go figure huh ?? this has nothing to do with dialog windows attached or not attached its the same the whole right section of the window is cut off and you CAN’T resize that window WHAT A FUCKING JOKE .. polished ?? go fuck your selves with your fathers cock gnome devs, what a fucking embarrassment.
this problem wasn’t in 3.18 , So in 3.20 they have manged to make fuck ups !!!! and they say theres improvements in 3.20 ? well for every improvement you can cancel it out with the fuck ups you made !!! and there’s more than one let me tell you, Internet connection, sound, screen goes blank … all this shit wasn’t in 3.18 ?? I’ve reinstalled a fresh install 2 times to make sure…. I also booted up fedora 23 on a usb which has 3.18 default and it doesn’t have any of these flaws. Gnome shell 3.20 is a FUCK UP !!!!
2 ) The Internet connection keeps just disconnecting
3 ) fucking stupid implementation of a useless idea that gets in the way and has no real world usage but the gnome devs things its a fucking brilliant idea .. bloody dickheads, look below at right hand corner where my mouse is. I’ve selected a folder and then scrolled down browsing other folders and the label is now in my way and also blocking the name of the folder beside it WTF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
4 ) So I’ve now selected the folder and hovered over it with my mouse and its still blocking the name of the selected folder and the name of the other folder beside it, why the fuck do I need a pop-up to tell me the name I fucking know the name I’ve got two eyes and I can fucking read , this is so fucking annoying its meant to push the folders up when you click the folder so the name is visible but it hardly ever works depending on the scrolling position WHO THE FUCK INTRODUCED THIS ? he should be fucking castrated, this is something that will never work right and its fucking stupid and useless we never needed this in nautilus before , why the fuck now ? if we need to know how many folders are inside the parent folder we will open the fucking thing or right click and get information on it , you end up chasing this fucking pop-up from left to right sometimes to get rid of it , is this a game ??? if it is go fuck your selfs gnome devs its a shit game don’t bother going to kick starter with it, I wont be supporting it !!!!!
5 ) creating a new folder, so when I create a new folder if I don’t use attached dialog the new folder appears in the top left, not within the center of nautilus which it should , attached dialog should keep the current window dialog as main and its purpose is not to center the newly opened window but to remain as the main window inside the current window, this is bad design and a display of some fucking useless cunt at coding and design
6 ) gxmessage is the same it will not center 
7 ) Move to trash .. This is another annoying pop-up thats not fucking needed and gets in the way, who at home throws something in the bin and then a day later says to them self ,hmm I best go to the bin and get what I threw out ? its the same fucking principal if you trash it , its was meant to be trashed . I don’t need a fucking pop-up telling me what I just did and if the reasoning behind it was in-case you accidental trashed an item, whats the point in adding the delete permanently option back in the right click menu .. can someone not click that by accident ?? gnome devs are the most retarded fucktards on planet fucktard, go back to your planet where you fucktards belong
8 ) nautilus just closes by itself intermittently , sometimes when I Click on a folder nautilus just closes, holy shitsticks batman maybe this is an added super feature created by the gnome devs , I take it back you gnome shell devs are fucking awesome.. NOT !!!!

Im going back to the mate desktop were functionality lives and breathes, I’m finally done with gnome shell , I’ve given it more than enough of my time and I’ve tried it so many times and every time I’m let down by these so called gnome developers … which is far from the truth !!! there a bunch of fuckwit’s at best. This is just not a good enough standard !!!
